What have you gained by participating in The Congressional Award?
This program helped me grow as a person and leader, showing me that I can accomplish my goals when I stay persistent and committed. I have gained confidence, as well as independence. Working toward my goals has pushed me to manage my time better, stay organized, and follow through when things got challenging. Volunteering allowed me to understand the importance of helping people in my community and others in need. Working toward my physical activity and personal development goals encouraged me to learn new skills and step out of my comfort zone.
