What have you gained by participating in The Congressional Award?
I have gained a deeper understanding of the importance of community service, the value of self-confidence, and the power of effective goal setting. Through my volunteer hours, I experienced how giving back to the community can make a meaningful impact. It also showed me how an individual’s efforts contribute to the success and wellbeing of a community as a whole. Additionally, The Congressional Award has helped me develop strong goals setting skills. I learned how to set clear and realistic goals and achieve them through time management and remaining disciplined. Completing all of my required hours and more on time showed me that I can successfully meet and exceed the goals I set for myself. Overall, The Congressional Award has helped me grow as an individual and prepared me for my future.
