Who better to support you on your Congressional Award journey than fellow program participants?
As part of a Wyoming Congressional Award club, you’ll get to work toward your goals with support, feedback, and encouragement from other participants in your area, as well as have opportunities to earn hours toward your goals together.

What do you do as a Wyoming Congressional Award club member?
Many club members coordinate their Voluntary Public Service, Personal Development, and Physical Fitness activities to earn hours together.
Examples of activities include:
- Tutoring
- Making blankets or cards to share with local non-profits
- Volunteering to help with after-school activities
- Organizing grounds clean-up days
For additional inspiration for group activities, check out https://www.congressionalaward.org/activities/.
Where can I find a Wyoming Congressional Award club?
Currently, we have clubs in the following locations:
Cheyenne
- Carey Junior High School; contact Rae Ann Merry, faculty sponsor
- Central High School; contact Max Vega, faculty sponsor
Just like The Congressional Award program, clubs are open to any young person between the ages of 13.5 and 24, and each can be as unique as its members.
For specific details about membership and meetings, please contact your local club leader/sponsor.
How can I start a Wyoming Congressional Award club?
Any group of young people can start a Congressional Award club to support each other; it doesn’t have to be based in or affiliated with a school or specific organization.
To start a club in your area, please call our office at (307) 514-2004, or email Sally directly. It’s a super simple process, and we’ll provide you with everything you need!
