What have you gained by participating in The Congressional Award?
The gains of doing the Congressional Award have been astronomical, from my continued health and my ability to help others, to being taught time management because of the hours required to gain this award or the patience from driving. Being able to serve the community no matter where I was helped my perspective on others’ situations in life. The time put into this was stressful at times and exciting at others, but when the time comes to submit my applications to college, it’s all going to be worth it. The memories that came out of this experience, whether they were from sports or helping others, will stick with me though life.
