What have you gained by participating in The Congressional Award?
I have gained so much—from continuing to better my physical health, to my ability to help others, to the demands and responsibility of having my first job. Being able to serve the community any place where I am traveling has helped my perspective on others’ situations in life. The memories that came out of this experience, from sports and weight lifting, to growing a servant’s heart, will stick with me though life.
