What have you gained by participating in The Congressional Award?
I learned how important helping others is, because every time you volunteer you can see what people have to struggle through while I take things for granted. I also learned that working on yourself feels good. When I lift for my physical fitness or practice driving, I feel way better after. I’ve realized how satisfying it is to help people because it also makes you feel better. I think the Congressional medal has helped me in every aspect of life, whether working hard for myself or doing something for somebody else.
