What have you gained by participating in The Congressional Award?
I have gained a lot of responsibility, and it has built my character and who I am today. Pursuing The Congressional Award has taught me to be more open and outgoing, and it taught me independence—because although you can reach out for help, you still need to learn how to do things on your own and speak up for yourself. This program has also given me more opportunities to excel in everything I do.
