What have you gained by participating in The Congressional Award?
I have gained a greater sense of what my community needs, and how I can step in and help them; a better sense of self discipline, by choosing goals and following through to accomplish them; more resilience, by learning how to adapt and change if my original plan doesn’t go the way I planned; and self-awareness, by discovering what motivates me to get things done and how I work best when trying to achieve long-term goals.
