What have you gained by participating in The Congressional Award?
I feel like I’ve gained a stronger sense of responsibility. To participate in the Congressional Award, you really have to make an effort to get hours in each area done each month. That takes planning and personal effort. I also got to do things that I wouldn’t have normally done.
