What have you gained by participating in The Congressional Award?
Participating in The Congressional Award has helped me grow in ways I never expected. Through volunteer work with Cheyenne Frontier Days and the Cheyenne Youth Basketball League, I learned the value of service, teamwork, and showing up for my community. Whether I was helping with events, supporting younger athletes, or assisting first responders, I saw firsthand how small actions can make a big impact. All together, my experiences helped me grow into a more confident, capable, and community-minded person. I’ve learned how to lead, how to serve, and how to keep pushing forward—and I’m proud of the person I’m becoming.
