What have you gained by participating in The Congressional Award?
I have gained an overall sense of the importance of giving back to my community. I know that what I have learned from volunteering will not end today, but will continue for all the years of my life. I have gained life skills in learning to be a safe driver and a good cook. I have learned to read recipes, grocery shop and plan meals that I know will be useful in my future.
