What have you gained by participating in The Congressional Award?
I’ve learned that there is so much more to people’s lives that we can’t see. People are always struggling, and there are amazing people in the world that are there to help. I have also learned that sports are much more than just a sport; they are a time to grow, and a time to make bonds that will never be broken. I am so thankful my parents told me about The Congressional Award because I don’t think I would have been able to learn these lessons and make these bonds otherwise.
