What have you gained by participating in The Congressional Award?
The Congressional Award has helped me realize how important it is to build a strong connection with others. Whether it is my softball team, school, or anyone in need, I now understand why building relationships is so empowering. The more I have been able to work with different groups of people, the more I have strengthened my interests, values, and beliefs. While these interactions were my way of contributing to my community, they also helped to grow me as an individual. This award has sparked many ambitions and given me the confidence to pursue them. The Congressional Award has, and will continue, to inspire me to persevere, be productive, and show love to others.
