What have you gained by participating in The Congressional Award?
From the Congressional Award, I have learned the importance of 3 things in particular: 1) Actively looking for new opportunities. (Whether it be service or even a just an experience to grow, it is important to always be seeking things out. If you don’t, then nothing will ever happen.) 2) Flexibility. (Nothing is ever going to go as planned. That’s ok. Roll with it.) 3) Asking for help. (My support system of family, friends, teachers, and my advisor helped working toward this award be an achievable and manageable goal.)
