What have you gained by participating in The Congressional Award?
I have learned that by setting goals, I am held accountable and that makes me more driven to achieve my goals. I also learned that support from my family was critical in meeting my goals and discovering new things. I was encouraged and challenged at the same time. And I have gained more self confidence in all that I do. Knowing that I can make a difference if I put my mind to it is a great reward for the work I put into this Congressional Award.
