What have you gained by participating in The Congressional Award?
I gained an understanding of how hard and stressful planning a trip could be, and I learned how to do things like make reservations and book activities. I also gained more experience in volleyball. Because of the numerous hours I was putting in for the Congressional Award, I was able to join a volleyball club and excel at different volleyball skills. I gained the satisfaction of helping young children at the library, along with more patience and understanding for them. Lastly, I learned that I could have fun and enjoy myself without being on my phone, TV, or computer.
