What have you gained by participating in The Congressional Award?
From developing better communication skills, to learning about hard work and discipline, to improving my writing skills, I have developed expertise in things that would not present themselves in my day-to-day life. As I am getting closer to graduating high school and going to college, I find myself grateful for completing The Congressional Award because it has helped me grow in basic skills needed for a future college student, like e-mailing professionals, expressing myself though writing and communicating with strangers, all of which I haven’t yet learned in school.
