What have you gained by participating in The Congressional Award?
Through doing the congressional medal, I have gained experience in serving others through volunteering which will be helpful throughout my whole life. I also furthered my cooking and baking knowledge, which has confirmed my desire to be a chef when I graduate. Finally, I learned I can push myself past the physical limitations that I have put on myself with my disability. I am so much stronger then I thought I was.
