What have you gained by participating in The Congressional Award?
This program has opened my eyes to the opportunities to volunteer in the community and the joy that comes from it. Because of this program, I will continue to actively involved in my community for I the rest of my life. I have also had the opportunity to develop two amazing talents. I use piano as a stress reliever and a way to bring positivity into the lives of others. Because I now speak Spanish, I have a strong connection with the Hispanic community, and I will be able to use Spanish in my nursing career for the rest of my life. I will forever recommend this program to people, and cherish the lessons and growth that I have gained from this experience.
