What have you gained by participating in The Congressional Award?
The Congressional Award opened up many new opportunities for me, like being able to volunteer at a hospital. I met people and had experiences I would have never had if this program did not push me to do. I also improved my crocheting skills, because when I grow up, I want to be a surgeon, and crocheting will help me handle sutures better and have more steady hands.
